This audio clip was recorded at 36.1627 degrees North, 86.7816 degrees West, and was etched onto a one-of-a-kind 6" phonograph disc using a refurbished 1947 Voice-o-Graph Recording Booth, located at Third Man Records in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. There are only two of these booths in the world, and it records up to 2 minutes of live audio. Field recordings were taken at 9 locations corresponding to significant tourism sites including; The Grand Ole Opry, The Bluebird Cafe, and The Musician's Hall of Fame. When exhibited 9 audio discs play on 9 small record players arranged to create an audio-scape of greater Nashville and is accompanied by a digital video animation titled "Invasive Species."
