Part net art and part curatorial experiment, JPEGS (Joint Photographic Experts Group Show) was an interactive online exhibition that invited participants to share one JPEG image that would be displayed collectively inside a virtual gallery space designed by Clint Sleeper; using an algorithmic code that randomly placed the works and continually redistributed fragments of the images allowing the viewer to experience the show in a myriad of configurations each time they visit the site.
