This site specific work was done in collaboration with Clint Sleeper, and musician Mark Baker for The Museum of Fine Arts, on the campus of Florida State University.

“In the machine” alludes to the embedded nature of corporations in our daily lives. On the screen, corporate logos are layered, constructed, and deconstructed, referencing a history of product and image consumption.
Interactive digital software triggers shifts in the animation, in relation to the amount of bodies engaging with the image. These shifts also effect the accompanying audio tracks, consisting of iPhone recordings, digital synthesizers, and found sounds. As more viewers gather before the moving image, the image scroll and audio speed increases. The result is a dizzying effect of information overload, much like the bombardment of product advertisements in our daily lives.
