Commabox is a collection of limited edition art objects presented in a volumed series This mobile exhibition experience is curated by the project co-directors, Judy Rushin and Carolyn Henne. 'Volume 2, Fragments', includes objects inspired by ancient Babylonian cuneiform tablets. Each artist featured in this edition addresses some type of fragmentation. Artists include Lorrie Fredette, Carlos Kempff, Judy Rushin, Anne Stagg, and myself along with a collection of literary quotations curated by internationally renowned poet Andrew Epstein. My work in this volume, sisterhood is for everyday people, addresses the concept of social fragmentation and relates to an essay by bell hooks on feminism and female bonding.
